Live Bird Demonstrations at Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts

Each year approximately 100 bald eagles visit the Bull Shoals area. Visitors will enjoy festivities centered around our national symbol. Activities include lake tours, guided bird walks, guest speakers, live bird demonstrations and live entertainment.  All activities are free, except the lake and river cruises.

Audubon Society of North Central Arkansas

Representatives will be available to answer questions and provide free brochures and information. Don’t miss your chance to purchase an Audubon specialty T-shirt.  All proceeds go to the Send a Child to the Halberg Ecology Camp.

2:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Raptor Rehabilitation

Wildlife rehabilitators give the wildlife a second chance.  Learn from Kenley and Ashley Money from Raptor Rehab of Central Arkansas and meet several of the birds in their care

Howard Davis Falconry

Howard Davis is an expert falconer and keeper of birds of prey.  He will present his birds and demonstrate some of their abilities.  He is an exceptional speaker and will share his love of birds and birding through this interactive session of show and tell. This is a must see show!!!

Live Eagle and Birds of Prey Demonstration

Ever seen a bald eagle up close and personal?  You will if you attend the Little Rock Zoo’s presentation on birds of prey.  In addition to having an eagle, they will showcase various other birds of prey and demonstrate their amazing abilities.  Be sure to come early for a good seat! Don’t miss the photo opportunity at the end of the show!

Mission Statement

The Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts is a non-profit corporation organized for the purpose of providing a professional environment for the Performing Arts and to establish a live Entertainment Center for the education and pleasure of the citizens of the mid-south area of the country. The mission is to build community character and excellence through the Arts. All proceeds from the operations of the Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts shall be disbursed only in direct support of the purpose of the corporation and to insure its continued existence and growth.
